Award-winning burger joint has a Dallas location

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers chose 21 locations to set up in and serve their burgers and milkshakes among the locations is Dallas according to a CW33 article from May 24 which reports,

“World-renowned burger spot, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer is coming to Dallas to bring their award-winning burgers and world-famous CrazyShake for North Texans to enjoy.

“It’s easy to be excited about these openings, all taking place in cities we have spent a lot of time in and fallen in love with,” said Owner Chris Barish. “The decision of where to go next isn’t a simple one though. We weigh many factors including where the current hot spots for growth are, what places are requested the most by our followers on social media and guests, and if we feel a genuine connection to the place. These cities hit all three.”

The Dallas location will be Black Tap’s first in Texas and is expected to open in late 2022 in the city’s Victory Park. “Black Tap Dallas joins a unique collection of restaurants and retail, public art, and a one-acre park, in this immersive area that is also home to the American Airlines Center.”

Their famous burgers will be available in the Dallas branch and they will be accompanied by the famous CrazyShake and their very own craft beers according to a CultureMap Dallas article from May 19. They say,

  • Greg Norman with Wagyu beef, blue cheese, and arugula
  • Texan Burger, with bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and an onion ring
  • Italian-American inspired Mulberry Street burger, with provolone, hot cherry peppers, prosciutto, soppressata, roasted garlic aioli, and grated parmigiano-reggiano
  • Wagyu Steakhouse Burger, with pepper jack cheese, bacon, crispy onions, and A1 sauce

There are also two salads, wings, fries with a dozen sauces, and starters that include chips & queso, fried pickles, teriyaki broccoli, and crispy Brussels sprouts with sesame-tahini.

Their CrazyShake milkshakes are trademarked, and that’s smart because there’s probably a lot of restaurants that would want to be calling their milkshakes CrazyShake, too. By “Crazy,” they mean crazy in the way that is useful for Instagram, such as a milkshake topped with a slice of birthday cake, a cloud of cotton candy, or Cookies “glued” to the side of the glass.

They pour mainstay classics, limited-edition Black Tap brews, rotating seasonal beers, and collaborations with local microbrewers.”

Black Tap originally started in New York with only a 15-bar but currently, it has taken to the stage and to the world. It has branches in different parts of the country such as Las Vegas and Disney but it also has outside locations in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and even Switzerland.
