Bojangles broke ground in Frisco for its new location serving Southern chicken, biscuits, and tea, with plans for six DFW restaurants, according to a Frisco Enterprise article. They say,
“Bojangles broke ground on its new Frisco location on Feb. 13 for a location in the Frisco Crossing development.
The restaurant franchise famous for its Southern chicken, biscuits and tea held a groundbreaking ceremony for its newest location at 1631 US Highway 380. The location is slated to open this spring in the Frisco Crossing development. This milestone event kicks off construction for one of six locations planned for the greater Dallas-Fort Worth market this year, including four company-owned and two franchised restaurants.”
Bojangles plans to open 21 new Texas locations and expand to New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Second Texas location coming to Frisco, according to a Southern Living article which reports,
“Bojangles has plans bigger than the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The company is angling to open 21 new Bojangles outposts across the Lone Star State and already has a second Texas location planned to open later this spring in Frisco.
The 45-year old Southern staple isn’t stopping there. Previously, Bojangles announced that they have plans to open their outposts in New York and add more locations in Pennsylvania and Florida, too. There isn’t an announced timeline for those spots to start serving up biscuits and chicken, so until then head to North Carolina, or come spring, Euless.”
Bojangles is set to begin construction on another restaurant in Frisco soon, which will be its second location in the area. The restaurant will be located at 2821 Eldorado Parkway.
