Frisco is finally getting the famous and trendy Indian Pizza restaurant called Curry Pizza which first originated from California according to a Dallas Morning News article from April 21. They say,
“Curry Pizza House is set to open in Frisco later this year, where it will bring its Indian spin on pizza.
Now, the California-based company is eyeing Frisco for its second franchise location in Texas — the first is outside of Austin in Cedar Park — after success in Northern California over the past decade.
The new store will open at Independence Plaza (5353 Independence Pkwy Suite 105) later this year, according to state filings.”
Their menu of course is inspired with Indian twists that will be mixed with Italian-style pizzas and they will be offering vegan options according to a Pizza Market Place article from Jan 17 which reports,
“Curry Chicken: curry sauce, cheese, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, red onions, Jalapenos, diced tomatoes and fresh cilantro.
Curry Chicken Masala: curry sauce, cheese, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, red onions, masala chicken and fresh cilantro.
Chicken Tikka: white sauce, cheese, diced tomatoes, red onions, chicken tikka, green onions and fresh cilantro.
Achari Gobhi: white sauce, cheese, red onions, diced tomatoes and marinated cauliflower and fresh cilantro
For vegetarians, we offer a lot of different choices. The Shahi Paneer and Achari Gobhi are top sellers. We also offer cauliflower crust for our gluten free customers.”
According to the founder and owner Gursewak Gill, the secret to the success of their pizza twists is their secret sauces which are always fresh and spicy. Additionally, their ingredients, which are mostly vegetables, are always fresh and cut daily if needed.
