Both McKinney and Frisco were ranked among safest places for living according to a Dallas Morning News article which reports, 

 

“On the heels of being named in the top 10 U.S. suburbs to buy a home, both cities are ranked among the safest places to live in America.

 

McKinney and Frisco are getting quite a reputation. In a good way. On the heels of being named in the top 10 U.S. suburbs to buy a home, both cities are ranked among the safest places to live in America.”

 

McKinney ranked second and Frisco ranked fourth in the Goodhire list of safest cities according to a Local Profile article which says, 

 

“On the Goodhire list of safest cities, McKinney was ranked the second safest city in America and Frisco was ranked fourth. But it wasn’t only Collin County that was determined to be the most safe, Cary North Carolina was ranked the safest city in America. 

 

Texas seems to be doing something right when it comes to keeping residents safe. KDAF reported that Goodhire listed Pearland sixth, El Paso ninth and Laredo tenth.”

 

Overall, eight of the top twenty safest cities are located in Texas. It is safe to assume that Texas is doing something right in keeping its residents safe and secure.
