“The fastest growing sport in the world just keeps on growing, as the $1.8 billion Frisco Station project just announced they will be adding a pickleball venue to its development.
Frisco Station, located on the west side of the Dallas North Tollway along Warren Parkway, already includes three office buildings, three hotels, and high-rise and mid-rise apartments.
The development will soon be joined by a couple of restaurant and entertainment venues: Fairway Social, and Pickle and Social.”
Frisco is getting its premier pickleball venue, offering the perfect setting for future prestigious tournaments, according to Trey Sibley, General Manager of The Rudman Partnership. This venture is part of Competitive Social Ventures’ expansion into multiple locations nationwide, promising various entertainment options beyond pickleball, according to a Dallas Morning News article stating that,
““Frisco has its first premier venue for pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the world, and the space is the perfect place to host prestigious pickleball tournaments in the future,” Trey Sibley, general manager of The Rudman Partnership, said in a statement. “These two offerings are just the beginning of the entertainment we’ll bring to Frisco Station.”
The Frisco location is the first such combined project for Competitive Social Ventures, which is opening facilities in Houston; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Louisville, Ky.; Tampa, Fla.; Atlanta; and Greenville, S.C.
