H-E-B plans to construct a second store in Frisco, TX, at HWY 380 and FM 423, targeting residents in eastern Denton County, according to a Local Profile article which says,
On May 23, 2023, H-E-B announced the upcoming construction of a second store in Frisco, as part of its ongoing expansion in North Texas. This new store, situated at HWY 380 and FM 423, aims to cater to the needs of residents in eastern Denton County.
The anticipated opening of the store is scheduled for late 2024. Further information regarding the project will be revealed during the groundbreaking event in June 2023.
“This new store builds on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this dynamic and growing part of Texas,” said Mabrie Jackson, senior director of public affairs for H-E-B.
H-E-B has expanded its presence in the DFW area, opening stores in Frisco, Plano, Allen, Alliance, Mansfield, and McKinney. The company aims to serve more customers in this growing part of Texas, according to a Fox 4 News article which says,
“After becoming a big name in southern and central Texas H-E-B has expanded into the DFW area.
H-E-B opened stores in Frisco and Plano late last year, with locations in Allen, Alliance, Mansfield and McKinney also officially announced.
“This new store builds on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this dynamic and growing part of Texas,” said Mabrie Jackson, senior director of public affairs for H-E-B in a statement.”
To support its new stores in North Texas, H-E-B plans to open an eCommerce Fulfillment Center in Plano. This facility will incorporate advanced technologies for a seamless shopping experience and be located next to the existing store.
