Knife Italian at Ritz-Carlton

Knife Italian, Chef John Tesar’s new venture at Ritz-Carlton Las Colinas, promises exceptional cuisine blending seafood, steaks, and sumptuous pasta, according to a People Newspapers article. They say,

“The much-anticipated Knife Italian restaurant opens today at the Ritz-Carlton Las Colinas. Knife Italian is Michelin-starred Chef John Tesar’s first Italian restaurant, after winning awards and accolades with seafood and steakhouses in Dallas, Orlando, and California.

The Knife Italian menu is a testament to Tesar’s prodigious culinary skills, heavy with fresh, raw seafood and dry-aged steaks. And pasta. Lord, that pasta.

As many new restaurants do, Knife Italian hosted a friends and family training/dining experience to allow the kitchen and service staffs to implement their training on non-paying guests. I am one of the lucky ones who enjoyed a complimentary dinner before the restaurant opened to the public.”

Knife Italian, opening March 19, 2024, showcases a vibrant Italian menu with striking design elements, including an entrance evoking ‘old-fashioned modernism, according to a Dallas Morning News article. In it they say,

“Chef John Tesar’s new restaurant Knife italian, which opens March 19, 2024 at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, has an Italian menu. Pork chop milanese is pictured at the center.

The entrance to Knife Italian at The Ritz- Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas is dramatic. Thomas Schoos founder of Schoos Design, Inc., calls the style of the restaurant “old-fashioned mondernism,” as if “you’ve just stepped into a Felini movie only, it’s in color.”

The Death in Venice cocktail at Knife italian at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas comes with an oyster on the side. Knife Italian, chef John Tesar’s latest restaurant, opens March 19, 2024.”

Knife Italian operates seven days a week, serving breakfast from 6:30 to 11 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.
