Amusement park Two Bit Circus, which features virtual reality, arcade games, and interactive rooms, gets ready to open at the second level of The Shops at Park Lane according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,
“The newest addition to Dallas’ Shops at Park Lane isn’t the average carnival.
Two Bit Circus bills itself as a micro-amusement park filled with virtual reality and arcade games and interactive story rooms. The people behind the concept took The Dallas Morning News on a private tour this week of the 35,000-square-foot space on the shopping center’s second level as it prepares to open to the public on Friday.”
The Dallas branch is Two Bit Circus’ second, which was founded in Los Angeles according to a Local Today article which says,
“It is the second venue for Two Bit Circus, which was founded in Los Angeles in 2018. Over the past few years, the Two Bit Circus team has been able to evaluate “what works and what doesn’t work” when considering the Dallas location, said Andy Levey, marketing director for Two Bit Circus.”
Two Bit Circus not only seeks to provide entertainment but also impact the community by supporting nonprofit organization Two Bit Circus Foundation according to a Business Wire article. They say,
“Designed for maximum social impact, Two Bit Circus supports a parallel 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Two Bit Circus Foundation. Its mission is to cultivate the next generation of inventors, advance environmental stewardship, and spur community engagement by providing schools and youth of all means with access to hands-on STEAM learning, modern maker tools, and upcycled materials.”
Two BIt Circus will be open from 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 5:00pm to 1:00am on Fridays, 1:00pm to 1:00am on Saturdays, and 1:00pm to 10:00pm on Sundays.
