Rodeo Goat Now Open in East Dallas

Rodeo Goat, known for their patios and burgers, opened in East Dallas in Casa Linda Plaza according to a Dallas Morning News article. They say,

“Freewheeling burger joint Rodeo Goat opened July 14, 2022, in East Dallas in Casa Linda Plaza. Another Rodeo Goat is planned for Frisco soon, near Preston Road and Gaylord Parkway.

Rodeo Goat currently has six other restaurants: in the Dallas Design District, Fort Worth, Plano, Irving, Rockwall and Houston. The burger joint falls in line among an amusing list of high-flying restaurants from owner Shannon Wynne that includes Meddlesome Moth in the Dallas Design District; 12 Flying Saucer beer bars, and 11 Flying Fish restaurants.”

Their menu, of course, revolves around special burgers which they have concocted themselves and each burger is loaded with ingredients. Some of their specialities include,

  • Chaca Oaxaca – beef and chorizo patty, avocado spread, pico de gallo, fried egg, queso fresco and tabasco mayo

  • Sugar Burger – candied bacon, grilled peaches, caramelized onions, arugula and jalapeno jam

  • Neil Young – vegan patty, hydroponic sprouts, beefsteak tomato, avocado, green goddess dressing

  • Whiskey Burger – Irish whiskey cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry compote, shredded lettuce and whole-grain mustard

The branch in East Dallas will be moving to Highland Park Cafeteria, and a branch in Frisco will be taking the place of an old Macaroni Grill.
