Uniqlo, the Japanese fashion retailer, is set to open its second Fairfax County location this fall at Fair Lakes Shopping Center, marking an expansion beyond Tysons Corner Center, according to an FFX Now article. In it they say,
“Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo is inching closer to opening its second location in Fairfax County.
Uniqlo plans to open this fall at Kirkland’s former location, which was 13041 Fair Lakes Shopping Center, according to representatives for Peterson Cos., which owns the center. The business already has a locations in Tysons Corner Center.”
Uniqlo, the popular Japanese casual wear brand, is set to expand its presence in North Texas, with plans to begin construction at The Parks at Arlington mall this year, according to a Fox 4 KDFW article. As per the report,
“Popular Japanese casual wear designer and retailer Uniqlo is coming to North Texas.
Records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that a Uniqlo store is planning to begin construction this year at The Parks at Arlington mall.”
Uniqlo’s North Texas expansion continues with plans for a 20,000-square-foot store at the Galleria in Dallas. Renovations, set to begin in May, aim for completion by October 18, according to a Dallas Express article. It reports,
“A Japanese fashion retailer is expected to open two stores in North Texas this year.
According to a state filing, a nearly 20,000-square-foot space is being renovated at the Galleria in Dallas for Uniqlo. The project, scheduled to begin in May, includes interior demolition and the installation of new fixtures, finishes, lighting, and a drinking fountain. It bears an estimated construction cost of more than $4.1 million, and the anticipated delivery date is October 18.”
Uniqlo extends its Texas presence with an upcoming store at The Parks Mall in Arlington, Suite 2070. The retailer also eyes expansion in Houston at Memorial City Mall.
